Luxury racing arrives in the Formula Zero Racer by incorporating the thrill of Formula One, the track dynamics of the bobsled or luge, and the grace and efficiency of yacht racing.

Reminiscent of the Mercedes Benz racing heritage of the 1930’s, the Formula Zero Racer is loaded with technology designed to extract the maximum thrust from the electric hub motors, aero-efficient solar skin and high-tech rigid sail.

Each team is allocated the same amount of stored energy and it is left to the teams and drivers to manage the variables to win the race. The winner is determined by total elapsed time combined with the energy efficiency factor.

Spectators at the Mercedes Benz Formula Zero racing Series are treated to a new dimension of racing as the transparent track is visible from all perspectives – even from below!

The MAZDA KAAN is an electric race car designed to compete in the E1 races, the pinnacle of international motorsports in terms of technology and popularity. In 2025, California freeways have been resurfaced with a sub-level electro-conductive polymer that powers the electric cars of the modern world. MAZDA’s patented electronic tire system uses this technology to power the KAAN to reach 250 mph with no harmful emissions!

The vehicles are piloted by individual drivers but teams are made up of thirty cars, all on the track together. Using strategies similar to those in cycling peletons, the tighter the group sticks together, the more aerodynamic and powerful it becomes.

Inspiration for the KAAN comes from electric fields and textures seen in nature, particularly those in a lightning bolt. The car is uniquely designed around its powerful electric wheels while the cockpit acts as a capsule to safely house the driver, allowing for tighter peloton formations and a team victory.

Just like its name, this vehicle is powered by a compressed air and pneumatic regulatorsystem, it was inspired by the modern roller coaster as well as skydiving wing-suits. As you can see Air’s cockpit has been designed to provide the passengers maximum open air experience. In order to reduce weight and increase dynamic performance, a hub-less wheel and drive system eliminates the use of heavy drive train components. Glass reinforced seating panels, urethane tire composition and skeletal sub-frame components combine for drastic weight savings. Air utilizes turbo vacuums and external air-flow to regenerate tank pressure for extended range and increased boost for an estimated 100 miles. BMW has launched the 328 Hommage concept, a design study concerned with a speedster, at the Villa d’Este. Taking its inspiration from the legendary 328 model, some of its awe-inspiring features include carbon-fiber body with asymmetric windscreen. The 328 Hommage holds the same layout. It is an exceptional 2-seater roadster having a front-mounted engine with a lightweight construction. The 328 Hommage BMW is unlike the 1930’s model in terms of its make, the usage of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The exterior design boasts a surface treatment related to the one followed by BMW for its newest concepts, with its design incorporating an assortment of elements, which creates a visual tie to the original model. Thanks to the usage of materials as well as freely suspended elements including 2 iPhones included in the dashboard via special aluminum housing having a silhouette of classic stopwatches , that expresses a sense of lightness in terms of its interior structure. Just for your information before you say “No” to this new Audi Snook concept, Audi Snook has won the Michelin Challenge Design Award 2008 at the Detroit Autoshow 2008. Designed by Tilmann Schlootz, German designer, this Snook concept is original and agile personal mobility vehicle that rides on a sphere.

Take a look at the multi-directional engine which consists of a sphere-wheel and enables the driver to navigate and steer the auto-stabilized cain in every direction. You’ll feel new driving experience, Audi Snook offers new maneuvers, fun driving, and satisfying the needs of future urban mobility.

Tilmann Schlootz describes his project: “The Magic Egg of Columbus, or better, two billard balls standing on each other: this icon is my origin on the way of reducing the hardware demands of physical mobility to the minimum.

One point touching the ground, the inverse pendulum in motion. Agility through instability, controlled byartificial intelligence – that is my formal issue.”

The Audi O green car concept designed by Czech based designer Ondrej Jirec combines a stylish and sports car with a powerful audio system. Though the exterior uses the usual Audi styling, especially the grill which is neatly placed between the headlights; the glass windows in the doors are extending to the bottom addingto the overall design of the vehicle. The designer says that inspiration includes the previous Audi model, i-pod and music. It features an audio system, bluetooth and internet connectivity and a built in 650 GB hard drive. So be it a short or long drive you are never out of music with Audi O car.

The new concept car R25 by Audi is the latest in its lineup of race cars. The features are quite innovative and the same have never been featured in any of the prototypes like high velocity banks and tunnels, afeature that allows the car to race in inverted position which helps it overtake other aerodynamic race cars. The car has been designed to perform in new racing conditions and will sure be a pioneer in revolutionizing the conceptual cars being designed for racing in the days to come.
