The Audi A0 QS, Q stands for four-wheel drive and S for sports, has been specially designed for athletes and rich people to enhance their active lifestyles. This small and dynamic sports car is equipped withelectric motor and a hydrogen engine that make the car entirely hybrid. Additionally, it features a special rotation system of the wheels with an analogy of the three-wheeled trike, making the wheels able to bend without rotation along the vertical axis. Rubber fabric has been used to make the doors, which greatly enhances the design and makes it possible to transform into transparent materials according to the rider’s need. Length of the compact car is 3400 mm, giving the users an ultimate driving convenience on busy urban roads and when parking.

Peugeot’s HYmotion 3 is a concept vehicle which facilitates urban mobility by bridging the gap between anelectric scooter and a car. This vehicle comes with three wheels – two in front equipped with electric motorand one in the back powered by a diesel engine. HYmotion 3 is a hybrid vehicle that can be driven in the city in an electric mode. It is a slightly leaned and small frame vehicle with a maximum speed of 70mph covered with a glass on the top. This is something very desirable in today’s world of hectic roads.

A chief industry designer of INNO Company joined with the development team to develop an inventive self-balancing Scooter. The electricity-powered scooter is different from Segway and holds its patented technology. It makes use of only 2 gyros in order to discover the motion angle, featuring more lighter and lesser gearing system endured by hall switch. As an initial step, the designer designed a scooter having “O”handle, since it makes the self-balancing scooter more innate, light and comfortable for people’s handling. After having heard about the new requirements from the client, the designer went even further to design an innovative outline with more organic influencing language. The handle is designed with careful attention, with an objective of easy handling and secured keeping. The final project is set to complete on March 2011 and will be exhibited on the Chinese Export Commodities Fair this April.

This bike has been designed to fit our urban environment and public transportation systems. Riding ordinary bike, it’s impossible for you to carry it into the bus or the train. One of the rules to bring your bike in the train or bus is that no sharp details and no visible chain. “Urban Collapsible Bicycle” integrates chain, light, gears, and many details into a slip-in bag that is developed to cover the bike and minimize the risk of someone near us getting hurt from it.

The saddle is ergonomically designed to allow you easily adjust its position. The beautiful asymmetrical frame makes this bike more appealing to the eyes. One of the main objectives in this project was to create easy and fast folding procedures. “Urban Collapsible Bicycle” has been designed to address this issue, only 3 steps required to fold the bike: one mechanism for the saddle, one for the fork and handlebar, and the last one, turn the handles and pedals in.

An innovative Fusion Model has been unveiled by the Christchurch Company that already developed the electric folding YikeBike. This new model is slightly heavy than the innate carbon fibre bike, however it is slightly lighter on the pocket. While the archetype is made out of carbon fibre, the Fusion frame as well as the structural parts are made out of alloy and strengthened polymer composite, which clearly marks the differentiation between the two. Weight approximately 14kg in comparison to the 10.8kg carbon fibre bike, the Fusion bile costs just US$2000, much cheaper than the carbon fiber bike which sells for US$3000. People always wanted to buy a bike via a distributor so that they could test the same. This was the main reason for why the company unveiled the Fusion model at a much lower price point. Nevertheless, the fusion model would certainly meet the demands of the people. The YikeBike was groundbreaking at aconcept and at execution level, with sound programs to drive mass market adoption, said the judges.

The name of VEU stands for Vehiculo Electrico Unipersonal or in English Individual Electric Vehicle. As you probably can guess, the main objective of this bike is to design a collapsible bike where you can carryalmost anywhere. A bike can carry you from one point to another, like from your house to a bus stop, however, most of the time, you have to leave/park your bike somewhere if you’re going to get on the bus. Using VEU – individual electric vehicle, all you need to do is fold the bike and carry it with you.

Protector portable inflator concept is one of crucial equipments to have on your bike. There are more things to be aware of when riding a bike at night compared to riding during the day. It also has higher level of risks of having accidents. Protector concept is basically the advanced version of portable inflator. User can place this unit at the rear as a bicycle tail-light, or as a warning lamp on the road side when your bicycle needs to be repaired.

Designed with the goal to develop alternative transportation system for Bogota, Colombia, Synapse electric bike looks pretty stylish. Compared to Synapse bike from Sylvain Gerber (yes, they have the same name), this one looks more futuristic since it targets young executives who live in Bogota. Thedesigner says that he wants to design a vehicle that meets these young executives need for modern urban lifestyle. This electric bike is equipped with technology to interact with other services such as touchpoints, other public transportations, or personalized advertisement.

Matra e-Mo+ features a speed of 45km/h and an autonomy up to 60km depending on the battery type. The difference with the older Matra e-Mo (without plus), this vehicle has been designed for a more extensive use without sacrificing the pleasure of riding through its front disk, hydraulic fork, rear suspension with a double shock absorber, tubeless tires, custom designed handles and specific combination tools.

Instead of conventional shelves, this innovative refrigerator concept contains odorless and non sticky biopolymer gel which cools the food through luminescence. Adaptability is another notable factor, you can use this refrigerator both vertically and horizontally, even you can hang it on the ceiling. Sounds weird, right?
